Southbridge Savings Bank Celebrates the Grand Opening
of Their Webster Branch

Webster, MA, January 21, 2009 - Southbridge Savings Bank celebrated the Grand Opening of its Webster Branch. The celebration kicked-off with a grand opening ceremony on January 12th where Bank President and CEO, Philip Pettinelli officiated.

“We are very excited to be taking this branch to a new level,” stated Mr. Pettinelli. “For over 10 years we offered full service banking in our Webster Shaw’s location but now look forward to be able to offer even more to customers in this traditional branch.  The branch now offers a 24-hour ATM and drive-up window and also includes many technologically advanced additions such as a banking kiosk, waiting area complete with WiFI, high tech plasma screen television and a coffee bar.”

The Grand Opening consisted of a whole week of events. On Monday the ribbon cutting celebration was held and later Bingo was held in the lobby. Tuesday Southbridge Savings Bank’s Investment Consultants Jason Main and John Jawor offered free consultations and the branch then welcomed Lisi & Lisi Coins to provide Coin Appraisals. Wednesday was Commercial Services Day with special guest, Red Sox Announcer Carl Beane. On Thursday the bank offered free Internet safety guidance with a Special Agent from the FBI and 10-minute chair massages provided by April Nail of Finally Lisa’s Salon in Southbridge and Matthew Dadah of Maximum Fitness in Oxford. Friday provided much fun with customers entering the Cash Cube and grabbing over $350 in cash as well as a visit from Psychic Gary McKinstry. The week ended Saturday with Kids Day where children were able to have Child Safety kits done by the Webster Police and Fire Departments as well as having fun doing some winter crafts.
