Southbridge Savings Bank Supports Learning Program
Top Floor Learning, Inc. offers learning opportunities for adults of all ages

May 8, 2005 - On the top floor of the brand new Palmer Public Library resides a nonprofit organization
that offers literacy and lifelong learning opportunities to adults of all ages. Top Floor Learning,
Inc. was created to address the learning needs of adults in basic literacy areas such as reading and
writing, English as a second language, GED and citizenship preparation. This organization also offers
lifelong learning and enrichment opportunities to adults.
At the Top Floor Learning, Inc. open house on May 8, 2005 Southbridge Savings Bank presented them
with a donation of $1,000 to help contribute to the good cause. Top Floor Learning, Inc. derives
its income from grants, modest course fess and contributions from the Quaboag Valley Community.
"Southbridge Savings Bank is committed to assisting advancement programs such as this one",
stated Philip Pettinelli, President and CEO of Southbridge Savings Bank. "With twelve branches,
and soon to be 13 with our Palmer branch scheduled to open in the fall, we are always looking for
ways to support a variety of community development needs".
